35 Import your Private Pressbooks

You can import your private Pressbooks to Canvas in 17 steps.

1. Start at the ‘Organize’ page
2. Select the chapters to export
3. Select ‘Export’
4. Select the ‘Common Cartridge with LTI Links’ among ‘Export Options’
5. Select ‘EXPORT YOUR BOOK’
6. Hover cursor over the exported book
7. Select to download the book onto your computer
8. Find the downloaded book on your computer
9. Access your Canvas course ‘Settings’
10. Select ‘Import Course Content’
11. Select ‘Import Content – Content Type’
12. Select ‘Common Cartridge 1.x Package’ as ‘Content Type’
13. Select ‘Choose File’ to Upload the file from your computer
14. Select ‘All Content’ to import all content of the uploaded file
15. Select ‘Import’
16. Select ‘Modules’ to check
17. Done!
